Landmark Decisions of Common Law Courts
Here you can access one of several projects developed by the Chair in Comparative Public Law and Politics: a collection of landmark constitutional and administrative decisions from several common law courts
As part of its mission to promote and disseminate research in foreign and comparative law, the Chair makes available to the academic community (researchers, lecturers, students) a collection of landmark constitutional and administrative decisions delivered by courts in several common-law jurisdictions.
Each subsection corresponds to a specific legal system and includes tables presenting a selection of major decisions, summarised and partially translated into French (unless otherwise indicated by the author) where appropriate.
All of these materials (tables, case notes, and selections) may be used freely, provided an adequate reference is given, without modification, and for non-commercial purposes.
This project, initiated by Camille Bordère as part of her work within the Chair and supervised by Professor Aurélien Antoine, is intended to be expanded over time with decisions from other foreign legal systems.
